The Redarc Smart Start SBI24 is a dual battery isolator used for isolating starting and auxiliary batteries. It´s a microprocessor-controlled smart battery isolator that protects the primary battery from a low charge in the secondary battery, ensuring it doesn´t drain the primary battery while allowing the auxiliary battery to power non-essential loads. The SBI24 provides 24-volt direct current with 100A of continuous ratings. The Smart Start SBI24 battery isolator is mainly used in commercial vehicle dual battery systems and incorporates electronics components to prevent high voltage transients from occurring in the solenoid. It features advanced fault detection and an LED indicator to alert users of faults, including overvoltage, voltage drop, and excessive power consumption.
