Optima RedTop batteries use Spiracell technology (spiral plates). As a result, Optima Red Top batteries have extremely low internal resistance and are able to provide particularly high starting current for the first few seconds. Therefore, Red Top batteries are ideal for use in places where high starting current is required. Typical machines using Optima Red Top batteries are agricultural and road construction machines, emergency vehicles, off-road vehicles and various aggregates. Low internal resistance allows the battery to be recharged in a short time. The extremely low self-discharge of the REDTOP means that the battery can be started without any problems even after a long standstill. Optima Red Top offers much more than just a powerful starting current. The battery lasts up to three times longer and is up to 15 times more resistant to vibration than conventional batteries.
