The Redarc BCDC1250D is a 12V 50A in-vehicle DC-to-DC battery charger. It´s the latest addition to the award-winning BCDC Dual series, featuring Redarc´s Smart Start technology. With a 50-amp charging output, it stands as the most powerful option in the Redarc BCDC lineup. The BCDC1250D is engineered to provide higher current output, featuring an additional charging stage known as SoftStart, designed for more demanding applications. Equipped with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) solar regulation, the BCDC1250D charges simultaneously from both solar energy and the alternator. Utilizing the built-in "Green Power Priority" feature, it prioritizes solar energy charging, reducing the load on the alternator. Compatible with both 12V and 24V vehicle systems, this device works seamlessly with standard or variable/smart alternators. It is compatible with all common automotive and recreational vehicle batteries, including AGM, gel, standard lead-acid, calcium, and LiFePO4.
