Exide AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) starter battery is based on technology where the electrolyte is absorbed into glass fiber separators. Designed for vehicles with Start-Stop systems, regenerative braking, and extensive electrical equipment. Offers 4× higher cycle durability, enables fast and repeated charge-start cycles, and performs well in partial charge states. Top-level safety – leak-proof, no free acid. Gases (hydrogen and oxygen) are recombined into water inside the battery. Safe for cabin installation (not allowed in engine bay). Vibration-resistant, low self-discharge – long shelf life. Also suitable for high-demand applications like boats, motorhomes, and emergency vehicles.
